Agriculture Ministry denies sugar shortages in stores

MOSCOW, Apr 1 (PRIME) – Sugar deliveries to the stores meet demand fully, the Agriculture Ministry said in a statement on Thursday, denying an Izvestiya daily report that sugar producers suspended deliveries to the retailers at the end of March.

"The participants of the sugar price stabilization agreements with an about 100% market share fulfill their obligations and deliver goods in the amounts fully meeting the local market demand," it said.
